03 - Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
04 - Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally to distribute heat evenly.
05 - Add the condensed mushroom soup, sour cream, salt, pepper, and paprika to the skillet. Mix well and simmer for 3 minutes until fully combined.
06 - Spread the meat and vegetable mixture evenly in a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish.
07 - Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
08 - Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single, even layer on top of the cheese.
09 - Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
10 - Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
11 - Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
12 - Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
